Satte for f\u00f8rste gang t\u00e6nderne i s\u00e5dan en december 2018, da jeg var p\u00e5 ferie i Norge, Oslo, med min veninde\/fars gran-kusine. Og den er da utvivlsomt blevet en del af mit \u00e5rlige julebagv\u00e6rk.<br>Har i mange \u00e5r \u00f8nsket at tage p\u00e5 ferie til nordlige Sverige eller til Norge i juletiden. Sneen der d\u00e6kker hele landet. Julemarkederne. Lysene i gaderne. Opleve deres m\u00e5de at fejre julen p\u00e5. For selvom man t\u00e6nker at de nordiske lande er meget ens, har vi nu alligevel vores forskelligheder og unikke traditioner.<br>Og s\u00e5 heldig som jeg nu er, s\u00e5 bor min farmors lillebror i Oslo, og fik lov til at overnatte hos ham. Og det var alt hvad jeg havde dr\u00f8mt om og mere til. Men ingen rejse til udlandet, uden at udforske deres lokale bagv\u00e6rk.<br>P\u00e5 julemarkederne var der rigeligt med l\u00e6kkerier, b\u00e5de bekendt og knaps p\u00e5 kendt. Men s\u00e6rligt denne kage var i \u00f8jefaldene. Smultringer. Det var det eneste standen solgte. Og man kunne se manden st\u00e5 og lave dem samtidig med at han solgte dem. Det ligner sm\u00e5 doughnuts, som blev friturestegt, deraf navnet smultringer. Smult betyder fedt, da man i gamle dage ikke friterede ting i olie, men i svinefedt. Men det bliver desv\u00e6rre lidt sv\u00e6rt hvis du ikke bor i Norge. Desv\u00e6rre er sererr\u00f8mme ikke noget man kan f\u00e5 fat i i Danmark. Har kigget rundt, s\u00f8gt p\u00e5 nettet, men kunne ikke finde det nogen steder. Det viser sig at man faktisk har kunnet f\u00e5 fat i det engang. Irma solgte det for nogle \u00e5r tilbage, men grundet det d\u00e5rlige salg og lave eftersp\u00f8rgsel, har de valgt at stoppe med at s\u00e6lge det, til alle nordm\u00e6nds \u00e6rgrelse. <br>Under min s\u00f8gen efter produktet st\u00f8dte jeg p\u00e5 mange kommentarer fra adskillige nordm\u00e6nd som var kede af at de ikke kunne bage deres smultringer, netop fordi man ikke kunne f\u00e5 fat i seterr\u00f8mme.
